In a bid to strengthen healthcare services delivery at the grassroots level, the Sen. Abdul Ningi Contact & Mobilization Project 2027, has donated a modern scanning (ultrasound) machine to the Primary Healthcare Center (PHC) in Kafin Madaki Ganjuwa LGA.
The donation followed a recent visit by the group, during which support items were distributed to pregnant and breastfeeding women.
During that visit, Healthcare workers and Community members appealed for the provision of a scanning machine to ease their work and improve care for expectant mothers.
Reports indicated that the Facility had long operated without a scanning machine, creating challenges for patients, especially pregnant women.
This gap has now been addressed through the intervention of Senator Abdul Ahmed Ningi, facilitated by the support organization.
The presentation ceremony was attended by key stakeholders, including coordinators of Senator Abdul Ningi, PDP Executive members, Councilors, the Director of PHC, Ganjuwa LGA, the Officer in Charge of the Facility, and a large number of women supporters.
Speakers at the event described the donation as a significant contribution to community healthcare services delivery, emphasizing that such initiatives strengthen the bond between leadership and the people, particularly in the area of public health.
The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continuing programmes that support communities, especially in healthcare, education, and social well-being of the people of Bauchi State.
