Gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State for the 2027 general elections, former Governor, Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN, has announced the dissolution of the 20 Local Government Coordinators of his campaign with immediate effect.
The announcement was contained in a notice from the Office of the MA Strategy Committee, signed by Hon. Umar Ibrahim Sade, Head of Media M.A Strategy Committee and Former Commissioner Information during the first tenure of the former Governor.
The notice contained, “With gratitude to Almighty Allah and appreciation to all of you, the M.A. Abubakar Strategy Committee hereby formally announces the dissolution of all 20 local government Coordinators with immediate effect.”
It further contained, “Appreciation: We sincerely thank every Coordinator, mobilizer, and volunteer who worked tirelessly across the 20 LGAs and 323 wards of Bauchi State. Your sacrifice, loyalty, and commitment to the vision of MA Abubakar SAN, will never be forgotten.”
On directives, “All Coordinators should immediately cease all activities. All assets, records and unused materials in your possession should be
documented and returned to the Secretariat on or before 16/07/2026.”
On the way forward, The Strategy Committee assured that it will communicate next steps regarding engagements in due course.”
It however urged supporters and APC members to, “Please remain united and continue to support the ideals of MA Abubakar, SAN. We pray Allah rewards everyone abundantly and grant us peace, unity and progress in Bauchi State.”
