Tragedy struck in Niger State over the weekend following the death of no fewer than nine (9) persons died in a ghastly accident between Lanle and Shaba- Woro along Bida-Kutigi- Mokwa roads in Niger state.
The road traffic crash occurred in the early hours of Sunday which involved a Mazda vehicle traveling from Minna to Mokwa and a Seinna space vehicle that was traveling from Lagos en route Minna Niger State Capital.
It was reliably gathered that the Mazda vehicle had a head-on collision with the on coming Seinna space vehicle while it reportedly entered a blind corner before the accident occurred.
According to an witness account, nine dead bodies were seen at the scene of the accident, while the injured persons sustained varying degrees of injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
A resident of the area, Malam Sachi Isah advised drivers to always exercise patient, conscious of other road users , avoid dangerous driving especially at the corners, while he advised them to have a deserved rest after several kilometers journey and continue with their trip to avoid avoidable accidents that usually led to loss of lives and . properties
As of the time of filing this report on Sunday in Minna there was no official statements on the unfortunate development by the relevant authorities
