The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has been lauded by Bauchi State chapter of the Labour Party (LP), for recognizing and affirming Senator Nenadi Usman, and the entire members of her National Working Committee.
The chapter of the LP therefore congratulated Nenadi Usman over the victory as conveyed vide a letter written and signed by Hon. Nason Gbegyi, Interim Chairman and Hon. Suleiman Kobi, Interim Secretary, Labour Party, Bauchi State, copies of which were made available to Journalists in Bauchi on Sunday.
The letter reads: “We write with immense joy and a renewed sense of purpose to congratulate you on the formal recognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in uploading your names as the authentic leaders of the Labour Party.”
It stated that, “This decisive action by INEC firmly affirms the Supreme Court judgement of 4th April 2025, which validated your leadership, and it marks a pivotal moment in the history of our great party.”
The LP Bauchi State, added that, “This recognition brings to an end all ambiguity and lays a solid foundation for unity, progress, and focused rebuilding.”
The Party called on all members, stakeholders, and supporters across Nigeria to join hands with the National Committee to reposition the Labour Party and strengthen it preparatory to the 2027 general elections.
“The Labour Party, Bauchi State Branch, under our interim leadership, hereby pledges her unalloyed loyalty to the Senator Nenadi Usman-led National Committee,” It assured.
It added, “We express our absolute trust and confidence in your visionary leadership and commitment to peace, internal democracy, and the ideological principles of the Labour Party.”
The Bauchi LP added, “We believe strongly that under your guidance, the party will move forward with unity, clarity, and purpose.”
It concluded, “We assure you of our readiness to work closely with the National Committee to mobilize support, promote party programmes, and ensure the Labour Party emerges stronger and more formidable in Bauchi State and across the nation.”
