The Six newly appointed District Heads in Zaar Chiedfom have been charged to uphold the values of integrity, unity, and service to the people.
The charge was given by the First Gung-Zaar of Zaar Chiedfom, Brigadier-General Marcus Kokko Yake (Rtd), while presenting the new District Heads their official letters of appointments to enable them start functioning as traditional rulers of the Chiefdom.
The letters of appointments were presented on Saturday during a ceremony held at the Zaar Palace in Tafawa Balewa.

The District Heads who received their appointment letters are: Bogoro District, Mr. Nuhu Tafida;
Marti District, Mr. Bernard Bako; Tapshin District, Mr. David God it, Pusji District, Mr. Simon Kefas Adam, Boi District, Mr. Bala Likita Ibrahim and Lusa District, Mr. Dauda J. Zabas.
Speaking during the presentation, the 1st Gung-Za’ar, Brigadier-General Marcus Kokko Yake (Rtd), charged the newly appointed District Heads to uphold the values of integrity, unity, and service to the people.
According to him, “Your appointments are not only a recognition of your characters and leadership capacities, but also a call to greater responsibility.”
“I expect you to serve your people with fairness, humility, and dedication, and to always promote peace, unity, and development across your districts,” the Gung-Za’ar stated.

He further emphasized the importance of loyalty to the Chiefdom and respect for traditional institutions, noting that effective grassroots leadership remains vital to the progress and stability of Zaar land.
He stressed that the appointments reflect the confidence of the Zaar Chiefdom in the integrity, leadership capacity, and commitment of the appointees to community development, peace, and good governance.
The Zaar Chiefdom congratulated the newly appointed District Heads and wished them wisdom, strength, and success as they carry out their responsibilities in service to their respective districts and the Chiefdom at large, as contained in a statement signed by Comr Joseph Emmanuel Joeman, Media Directorate Zaar Chiefdom.
