Bauchi State Chapter of the National All Progressives Congress (APC) Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria (NACLFON) has pledged massive mobilisation of the public for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to enable him complete his good agenda of developing the country.
The group also assured that it will mobilize to the reelection of the governorship candidate of the APC in the person of former Governor, Barr Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar, SAN in the general elections.
The group gave the impression during a strategic meeting held at the Amazing Grace Baptist Church (AGBC), along ATBUTH Road in Bauchi, on Sunday.
The chapter, during the meeting, adopted what it called a “twin mandate”: delivering votes for President Tinubu at the national level and for Abubakar and his running mate, under the M.A./FAROUK ticket, at the state level.
The meeting, which ran from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., drew hundreds of members, LGA Coordinators, Executive Councils and stakeholders from across Bauchi’s 20 local government areas.
Bauchi State Coordinator of the group, Apostle Daniel Yusuf Adamu, briefed members on “Operation Go for 50,” NACLFON’s national initiative targeting nine million votes for President Bola Tinubu.
He said the Bauchi structure would serve both the presidential and governorship campaigns, instead of running separate tracks while LGA Coordinators presented the reports on ongoing grassroots activities and renewed commitments to deliver their areas.
Daniel Adamu stressed the need for a structured network to translate organisational commitments into votes, adding that committees and budgets had been constituted to drive mobilisation on both fronts.
He also said the chapter would carry out continuous, real-time evaluation to monitor progress ahead of 2027.
The meeting also received hundreds of new members into the Bauchi chapter as Organisers described the turnout as evidence of growing Christian participation in civic and political engagement.
In a welfare segment, a total of 70 members received cash support, with priority given to tertiary students and women in the Bauchi metropolis.
Participants, including those who travelled from distant LGAs, were also provided with refreshments and transport assistance.
Some of the notable presence included a resident Pastor and a Catholic youth leader just as the leadership also acknowledged the presence of Muslim observers, describing it as a sign of the chapter’s commitment to peaceful interfaith engagement.
Concluding the session, the chapter reaffirmed its resolve to strengthen structures across all LGAs to secure victory for both President Tinubu and the M.A./FAROUK ticket in 2027. LGA coordinators pledged to begin immediate implementation of the resolutions.
