Terrorists kill 5, set Niger community ablaze, as many victims are  abducted

Terrorists have reportedly killed five persons, set ablaze Baga community in Shiroro local government area of Niger state .
Reports emanating from the area indicated that the Baga community was attacked by the suspected terrorists on Tuesday morning prompting villagers to flee and abandoned their houses.
A man from the community who spoke on condition of anonymity to our Correspondent,  said, ” over 160 terrorists invaded Baga early this morning and have been burning houses using explosives. As at now this evening, Baga community is on fire with rising thick smoke “.
Nigerian Pilot further gathered that no fewer than about  eight vigilantes have been injured and hospitalised in attempting to confront the terrorists group but were said to have been out numbered.
Further checks revealed   that the suspected terrorists had on Monday rustled many cattle from Nada village in Shiroro local government but apparently lost their route before finding themselves in Baga community.
It was gathered that security agencies have mobilised to the area, however,  the authorities of the Niger State police Command have not yet issued statement on the incident as at the time of filing the report on Tuesday in Minna.
