The Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board has announced the demise of one of its pilgrims, Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim, who passed away in Makkah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The deceased, who hailed from Kontagora Local Government Area of Niger State, died following injuries sustained in a road traffic crash, which occurred at night while he was returning from the Holy Mosque.
The Board expressed deep sorrow over this tragic loss and extended its heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, the people of Kontagora Local Government Area, and the entire Muslim Ummah.
The late Alhaji Salisu Ibrahim, aged 43, was laid to rest in Makkah Saturday afternoon in accordance with Islamic rites and the sanctity of the Holy Land.
The Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board prayed Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give his family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
The Board also assured the general public that it remains committed to the welfare, safety, and well-being of all pilgrims under its care.
