Niger Governor  Umaru Bago Marks Eid -El-Ftr In  Suleja

Niger State governor,  Mohammed Umaru Bago has called on Muslims to remain law abiding citizens and imbibe the spirit of love and tolerance.
The governor gave the advice shortly after joining thousands of worshippers at the Suleja prayer ground to  observe the two-units congregational prayers in commemorating this year’s Eid-El-Fitr.
The Salanke of Zazzau Suleja, Malam  Abdullahi Kasim led the prayers which was also attended by the Emir of Suleja, Malam. Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim.
Governor Bago who gave gratitude to Allah for witnessing another Eid peacefully across the State prayed for continued peace and development of the State.
The governor also encouraged Muslims to always persevere, respect one another irrespective of religious background and imbibe the lessons learnt during the  Ramadan fast .
He used the medium to again caution those who chose the path of violence to renounce it as security agencies will not hesitate to take its course and deal decisively with perpetrators.
Emir of Suleja, Malam Muhammadu Awwal Ibrahim in his remarks, appreciated the State governor for coming to celebrate Eid -El- Fitr with the people of Suleja and used the medium to call on them to continue to pray for the peace and development of the State and the Country at large.
He described the governor as a visionary leader who needs the support of all Nigerlites to succeed in taking the State to greater heights.
Governor Umaru Bago was accompanied by the Secretary to the State government, Alhaji  Abubakar Usman, member representing Suleja/Tafa federal constituency, Hon.Adamu Tanko, Head of Service, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Idris, Deputy Chief of Staff, Sadiq Yusuf, Commissioner for Transport, Hon . Abdullahi Maje and the commissioner for Homeland Security,Barr. Maurice Bello Magaji
